Dr. Martine Anderson grew up in the tiny town of Didsbury, Alberta – just up the QE2 halfway to Red Deer. She completed her undergraduate and dental degrees at McGill University in Montreal and lived out east for ten years before moving back to Calgary to be closer to her family, dogs and horses. She graduated with honours from McGill Faculty of Dentistry and was awarded the distinction of the Merchand Prize for Patient Management, as well as the American Association of Oral Biologists Award in 2018. She speaks English and French, and is an avid ice hockey fan!
“I’m very excited to be working at Beddington Dental Clinic. I firmly believe that patients want and need to be informed about their dental care and should be active participants in their own oral health. My goal is to provide patient-centered, personalized care where the patient’s needs, concerns and desires are reflected in the treatment solutions I provide.
My favourite part of being a dentist is getting to meet new people everyday, learning how their lives and dental needs intersect, and the gratification that comes from a happy patient after treatment. I’ve been working as a dentist in Calgary for over two years, and I can say confidently that the team at Beddington is an amazing group of compassionate, organized and hard-working individuals. I’m excited to be joining the group and can’t wait to meet you!”
